The basics
These terms apply when you buy from Pixelmix, a small independent print shop operating from California, USA. Questions go to hello@pixelmix.co.
Prints and pricing
Prices are in US dollars and exclude shipping and any applicable sales tax, both shown at checkout before you pay. Prints are produced on heavyweight matte photo paper.
Screens vary. The colour you see on your monitor will not match the printed piece exactly, and slight variation between individual prints is a normal part of the process rather than a defect.
Orders and payment
Payment is taken through Stripe. An order is confirmed once payment clears. We may decline or refund an order — for example if an item is unavailable or a price was listed in error — and if we do, you get a full refund.
Shipping
We currently ship within the United States. Prints are made to order, so allow a few business days for production before dispatch. Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees, and once a parcel is with the carrier its timing is outside our control.
Damaged, lost, and returns
If your print arrives damaged, or doesn't arrive at all, email us within 14 days of delivery (or of the expected delivery date) with a photo where relevant. We'll replace it or refund you.
Because prints are made to order we don't generally accept change-of-mind returns, but talk to us — we'd rather you were happy with what's on your wall than strictly correct about a policy.
Artwork and intellectual property
The artwork, photography, text, and design of this site belong to Pixelmix unless stated otherwise. Buying a print buys you the physical object. It does not transfer copyright or grant resale, reproduction, or commercial-use rights.
Some pieces are original artistic interpretations inspired by characters and scenes from existing works. Those characters and the works they come from remain the property of their respective rights holders. Pixelmix is independent and is not affiliated with, authorised by, or endorsed by any of them, and these prints are not official merchandise.
Liability
We stand behind our prints, but to the extent the law allows, our liability for any order is limited to what you paid for it.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date at the top will change when we do. The terms in force when you order are the ones that apply to it.
